Question 1

Any office worker will tell you that working at desk all day can be extremely uncomfortable. Sitting all day and using a computer can be even worse. Rayyan Daniel was a secretary in an MSC status companies operating in Cyberjaya. Every day he worked for 8 hours or more and are always confronted with the computer. As a result, he suffered eye pain and backache. Write a report to recommend the steps can be taken by Rayyan Daniel to prevent the injuries get worse.  You can use the ergonomic behavior as a guide.

Question 2

A computer’s input devices make it useful to people. What this though in mind, write a report for the following question. Currently commercially available PCs are configured for use by persons who do not suffer from physical impairments or disabilities that would prohibit using a computer. If a person with a physical impairment wants to use a computer he or she may need to purchase special equipment or software. Do you think this is fair? Should every PC be accessible to everyone whether they have physical impairments or not? If you believe this should be the case, how would you make computer accessible to everyone?

We may think we cannot use a computer unless it has a full array of output devices, but is this true? With this thought in mind, write a report for the following question. The number of unneeded printouts is growing every year. This practice wastes paper, electricity, storage space and natural resources. It also contributes to pollution and landfill use. If you could do one thing to reduce the practice of unnecessary printing what would it be? Would you restrict paper use in offices? Would you ration paper? Would you take printers away from certain types of workers? As such radical actions needed? If you do not agree, what types of action would you support?

We may think we cannot use a computer unless it has a full array of output devices, but is this true? With this thought in mind, write a report for the following question. Because PCs provide an ever-increasing variety of multimedia options, people are spending more and more time at their computers. Much of this time is spent playing games, downloading music from the internet, web surfing and so on. In fact, recent studies indicate that many computer users are addicted to the Internet or to game playing. Do these facts bother you? Why or why not? Do you worry that you spend too much time at your computer? What would you do to help a friend or coworker if you thought he or she was devoting too much time to the computer?

Many storage device options are available. These choices are beneficial for many users, but they also can be drawbacks for software companies, music publishers and others. With this thought in mind, write a report for the following question. CD-R and CR-RW devices are getting cheaper and more popular. They let you create backups and store data in a safe format. However, people also use them to make illegal duplicates of software and audio CDs. If you had a CD-R or CD-RW device, would  you consider making illegal duplicates? Do you think such copying should be illegal? Defend your answer.
